Porco Rosso ('Red Pig') is a collective laboratory of anti-fascist and anti-racist ideas and politics in the heart of Palermo, Sicily. We are part of a national network called ARCI.
We opened our doors 10 years ago, and since then thousands of people have come by, from every continent in the world. A central part of our activism is our ‘Sans-Papiers’ project, a weekly drop-in aimed at supporting both people on the move and local residents in difficult legal and social situations, defending rights and freedoms.
That includes asylum seekers, people accused of driving small boats, ex-prisoners, people overcoming addiction, women, queers, teenagers...
It's a big and diverse community.
All our initiatives naturally come with costs, and despite the incredible work of dozens of volunteers, we need everyone's help to pay the bills and keep the lights on. That's why we're asking for even a small contribution, even just 10 Euros (or pounds, dollars or whatever!) so we can keep doing our work in the best possible way.
If you can afford a monthly donation, you'll help see us through for another 10 years.
